Classic Interface

The following section presents the Classic Data Entry Interface and outlines its main functions.

The Data Entry tab is where you or your team can start working on data collection.

In the Data entry tab, Users can submit, modify or delete entries, they can import and export data and view details and history of individual entries.

Form & Activity List

You can find the Form and Activity List at your left on the Data Entry Interface.  Here you can find a list of the Databases, Folders, Forms and Activities in which you participate. 

This is where you can select entries to view for a set of Databases, Forms and Activities. You can focus on an individual Form or Activity by selecting just one.

By clicking on the arrow next to each Database you can expand it to see its contents.

You can collapse the Form & Activity List to save space by clicking on the double arrows (<<) at the top of the List.

Filter Panel

You can find the Filter Panel right under the Form & Activity List at your left on the Data Entry Interface. In the Filter Panel you can filter your Databases to find what you are looking for more easily.

You can filter by:

  • Geography
  • End Date
  • Start Date
  • Partner
  • Attribute
  • Location
Data Entry Grid

The Data Entry Grid is where you can find a list of all the Sites for an Activity and the information related to them.

Here you can:

  • View all of the Sites for the selected Activity
  • Sort Sites in an Ascending or a Descending Order
  • Determine which columns of data you want to view
Data Entry Toolbar

The Data Entry Toolbar is right above the Data Entry Grid and is where you can find most of the functions for entering data.

In the Data Entry Toolbar you can:

  • Submit a new Site to an Activity
  • Modify a Site
  • Group entries
  • Delete a Site
  • Import Sites
  • Export Sites to an Excel Doc
  • Print an Empty Activity
Lower Panels

You can find the Lower Panels at the bottom of the Data Entry Interface.

The Lower Panels consist of:

  • The Details Panel
  • The Monthly Reports Panel
  • The Attachments Panel
  • The History Panel
Details Panel

In the Details Panel you can view the Details of an individual Site submission.

Attachments Panel

In the Attachments Panel you can view the Attachment of a Site that has been submitted to an Activity during Data Collection.

Attachments can be:

  • of any file type
  • of maximum file size 10MB
History Panel

In the History Panel you can view the History of a Site that has been submitted to an Activity

This includes information such as:

  • The user who submitted the entry
  • The email of the user who submitted the entry
  • The date of the submission
  • The time of the submission
  • The edits on a submission
  • The user who edited an entry
  • The date of the edit
  • The time of the edit
Monthly Reports Panel

In the Monthly Reports Panel you can view the Monthly Report Indicators of a specific Site that has been submitted to an Activity during Data Collection. This way you can get an overview of the submitted information for every month at a glance. 

This is only possible for Activities and Sites that record Indicators on a monthly basis.
